Refund & Returns Policy

 

1. Our Commitment

At Rootistri, we take pride in the quality of every product we ship. All pasta is carefully packed and quality-checked before dispatch. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

 

2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

You may request a return or refund if any of the following apply:

  • You received a damaged or broken product

  • You received the wrong product (different from what was ordered)

  • The product packaging was compromised or tampered upon delivery

  • The product was past its printed expiry date at the time of delivery

 

Important: As our products are food items, we are unable to accept returns on products that have been opened, consumed or stored improperly. We also cannot accept returns for change of mind once an order is dispatched.

 

3. How to Raise a Refund / Return Request

To initiate a return or refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at operations@rootistri.com or via WhatsApp/phone (number listed on website).

  2. Provide your Order ID, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging showing the damage or defect.

  3. Our team will review your request within 2 business days and respond with next steps.

  4. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

 

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, approved refunds will be transferred to a bank account provided by you.

 

4. Non-Refundable Situations

We are unable to issue refunds or accept returns in the following circumstances:

  • Products that have been opened or partially consumed

  • Damage caused by improper storage after delivery

  • Orders returned without prior authorisation from our team

  • Requests raised more than 48 hours after confirmed delivery

  • Orders where the delivery address provided was incorrect

 

5. Order Cancellations

Before Dispatch

Orders may be cancelled free of charge if the request is made before the order has been dispatched. Please contact us immediately at operations@rootistri.com with your Order ID. If the order has already been packed and is awaiting pickup, we will make our best effort to cancel it but cannot guarantee success.

After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery at the door, in which case the order will be returned to us. A refund (minus shipping charges, if applicable) will be issued once the returned shipment is received and inspected by our team.

 

6. Refund Timeline

 

Online payments (UPI/card/net banking)

Cash on Delivery (COD)

5–7 business days to bank account provided

Wallet / store credit (if offered)

Within 24 hours

Order cancellation before dispatch

2–3 business days

 

Refund timelines depend on your bank or payment provider. Rootistri is not responsible for delays caused by banking systems.
